Do plastic products to wrap food, actually help you lose inches?
I heard that if you cover a part of your body which has extra fat, with a plastic product for food wrapping, then you'll lose inches in that area...Thats because the temperature is being increased and the fluid is going away...(perspiration and stuff)...What do you think of it? Do you think I might actually see results if i do it in my hips and tummy? Do you think its harmful? I forgot to mention that the above technic will be combined with daily excercise and healthy diet!

- u can try. i dont think its harmful.
- I think this is you reaching the point of desperation. Exercise, eat less and than you'll see results.
- The amount of fat in your body is determined by your exercise and eating habits – but where the fat is stored is determined by your genes. Fat loss around your stomach will only be achieved as part of an overall weight loss program. Gimmicks, like cling-wrap really are a waste of time. There is no scientific evidence to support that these types of methods will help you lose weight faster from a particular area. Wrapping may cause temporary water loss as a result of perspiration but any fluid you lose will be replaced when you drink or eat. A tummy tuck will change the shape of your stomach. Excess fat and skin are removed during the tummy-tuck operation. However plastic surgery is a radical and expensive option. Keep exercising and eating well and aim to be the best you can be. Try not to beat yourself up about your stomach. All too often we can become obsessed with the one thing that isn’t right and stop seeing ourselves as an interesting and attractive perso
- Personally, I think this is a terrible way to lose weight. If you are trying to lose water weight through sweating, go to a sauna or steam bath. If you see any results (which I doubt), it will be temporary.
- That about plastic wrap is old stuff. I wouldn't do it! Try diet and exercising! Cut out all that junk, high fat, salty and sugary foods! Eat healthy and start walking and exercise! Get off that couch and stop moaning about body fat! The only real way is diet and a work out every day!
- Fat Loss? no. not possible. Bodyfat is stored energy... 1 calorie is 1 unit of energy, much like we measure electricity in Watts or measure time with seconds. If you jump up, you're going to fall back down, due to gravity. Nothing is going to prevent this.. because there's a LAW of gravity. There's also a law of thermodynamics, and a law of conservation of energy. These state that we can't create or destroy energy, it can only change states. If we consume more calories than we expend, we store it. period. likewise, the ONLY way to remove it (other than limb loss/liposuction, etc.) is to EXPEND more than we take in. Look at it like $$. If I give you $5 every day, and you spend $4 every day.. at the end of the week, you're going to have $7 In order to decrease your $7 savings, I'm going to have to give you $4.50 every day, and you're going to have to spend $5.50. Wrestlers, boxers, bodybuilder sand others involved in weight-concious sports use plastic suits to drop weight at the last minute (in conjunction with saunas), but the weight loss is only water, and goes right back on. If you're looking for a permanent change in your body shape, you have to move more, and eat less.
